A meeting of the State Forestry Agency's Collegium took place in Volyn. This region is a leader in the development of recreation, tourism and hunting.

Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine Yuriy Bolokhovets: "Visiting specialized forest areas helps to minimize forest fires, because the vast majority of fires are caused by human carelessness with fire. One not fully extinguished fire can result in dozens of hectares of forest being burned."

Also, in order to control fires in the forest, Volyn foresters use a new program "Firefighter" produced by a local company. It automatically determines the location of the fire, builds the fastest route from the forest fire station to the fire and transmits the information to the fire truck.

Volyn is actively developing the production of its own eco-products. The foresters produce cream-honey, birch juice, jam, frozen and freeze-dried products. These products are in demand abroad. The products are exported to Poland, Germany, Israel, the US and other countries. In Ukraine, they can be purchased at "Lesovychki" recreational areas and in the e-shop.

We emphasize that the priority for the foresters was, is and will be working for Ukraine's victory in Russia's war against Ukraine.
