As a result of a successful counterattack by the Ukrainian military about 150 thousand hectares of forests have been liberated from the occupation - these are the territories of Kupyansk, Chuguevo-Babachansk, Balakleya, Izyum and Volchansk forestry enterprises.

"It is very difficult to assess at once the full extent of the damage caused by the occupants. Now we are resuming the work of managers of enterprises, we are checking the state of material and technical base. We are preparing for the fact that the region's enterprises will need a substantial support. We are already mobilizing the necessary resources," Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine Juriy Bolokhovets said.

The occupiers have not only destroyed the Ukrainian nature, smashed and robbed administrative buildings, but also executed our employees. In April, they shot Sergei Piyev, director of the state enterprise Volchansk forestry.
