Today, Ukrainian foresters talked to representatives of the company BCC on the construction of centers and the cultivation of seedlings with a closed root system. Technology of Swedish company BCC is advanced in the market.

Swedish colleagues shared their own experience in creation of forest nurseries for growing seedlings with closed root system. Advantages of this method were presented, as well as different kinds and systems of container growing. The advantages, features and problems that foresters may face when creating a new forest nursery with a line for growing planting material with a closed root system are highlighted.

Recall that in 2021 we opened two seed-breeding plants - in Lviv region and Donbass.

In 2022, we plan to build seed-breeding plants in Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

This year we also plan to expand forest planting complexes in Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions.

This will allow us to successfully implement the President's program "Green Country" and plant 1 billion trees over 3 years.
