The Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine Yuriy Bolokhovets emphasized the importance of reforming the forestry sector.

"Our task is to strengthen by times forestry, which becomes a key functional unit. In the future, they will receive many times more powers. Of course, and higher salaries", said the Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine.

He emphasized that there will be no mass reduction of people in the sector. On the contrary, the Cabinet of Ministers has defined the condition of the reform as preserving jobs in the forest sector.

- Head of Zhytomyr regional department of forestry and hunting Viktor Sakhnyuk informed about forestry in Zhytomyr region.

First Deputy Head Yuriy Sotnik reported on the possibility of additional timber harvesting from clear-cuts and thinning by enterprises of the industry.

Deputy Head for Digital Development Victor Smal reported on the functionality of the online shop "DrovaE", which will soon begin to work. Firewood will be available for purchase online.
