Today, every 7th forestry worker defends the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine at the frontline. A total of 5,400 brave workers are defending our country from the enemy.

"It is extremely difficult to comprehend the losses in the team. In four months, the war has claimed the lives of 21 forestry heroes. In honor of the heroes of the forestry workers who gave their lives in the war against the Russian Federation, we have erected a memorial sign on the top of Hoverla. A low tribute to the heroes," said Yuriy Bolokhovets, Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine.
