Electronic system of timber tracking is a program for monitoring timber that has been harvested and realized.

How does electronic system of timber tracking work? A special tag is affixed to the harvested timber. This tag encrypts information about the characteristics of the wood and the place where it was cut. When the wood is moved on to the warehouse, a bill of lading is affixed to it with information about transportation.

Together, all of this information goes into the electronic timber tracking system. This data keeps a clear track of who cut what timber where and, most importantly, how much. Thus, it is possible to compare how much timber was cut and how much timber was sold afterwards.
