During the spring reforestation campaign, forestry workers planted 116.4 million seedlings on a total area of 16,897.7 hectares, of which 1,366.7 ha were afforestation (planting of new forests). Forest plantations created in previous years were also supplemented on an area of 13174.6 ha.

A total of 174.8 million forest plants were planted during the year of the "Green Country" program. Recall that the major part of the plan is carried out in spring.

• Zakarpattya – 3,6 million;
• Chernivtsi – 3,9 million;
• Ternopil – 2,4 million;
• Dnipropetrovsk – 2,0 million;
• Kirovograd – 2,0 million;
• Kherson – 1,2 million;
• Donetsk – 796,0 thousand;
• Mykolaiv – 737 thousand;
• Kharkiv – 518 thousand;
• Odessa – 388 thousand.
